JAMES - PRESIDENT
James Shapiro is the founder and CEO of Audio Video Intelligence (AVI) based in Easton, Mass. AVI has been in the forefront of the custom integration marketplace for over 17 years. His systems have been sought after within the New England marketplace and beyond for his seamless approach. Designers, Architects and Builders all applaud the consistent theme of blending with the architecture and interior design of the project while complimenting the space.
James has the ability on the technical side of the industry as well, staying current with ever changing technology, trends and custom automation. Having a keen eye for design, along with the knowledge of both the industry and technology, allows James to create systems that are easy to use and compliments the design of the project. This has become the company's signature.
Alex - Tech
Alex is originally from Russia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and an Associate’s degree in Business Management and has worked in the Audio/Video industry since 2008. He has various certifications in home theater fundamentals, Control4, and wireless technology. He began working for Audio Video Intelligence in 2013. When not at work, Alex enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing.
Kyle - Tech
Kyle is from Rochester, MA. He attended Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. Before getting drafted by AVI, he worked four years of pro-audio experience. He is Control4 certified, and has his electrical License. He began working for AVI in 2017. Kyle is a skilled musician playing guitar and drums.
Matt - Tech
Is originally from Raynham, MA and he lived in Florida for twenty years. He moved back to the area in October 2012. That is when began working with Audio video Intelligence.
Tommy - Tech
Tom is initially from Stoughton and has worked for Jim and Allan for over 20 years. He has an Associates Degree from MassBay and is a Level 2 Certified C4 Installer. When not working, Tom loves all things sports related.
Brendan - Tech
Brendan has been with the company since November 2024. He has been in this industry for about 3 years now. Brendan enjoys weekend getaways to the mountains or beaches with his wife and their Ridgeback Lab Mix Hamilton. In the Spring/Summer/Fall he enjoys going for bike rides and working on house projects with his wife.
Jeff - Tech
Jeff began working for Audio Video Intelligence in 2021! When not at work, Jeff enjoys playing drums and going on hikes with his dog!
Kevin - Sales
Kevin is originally from Massachusetts. He attended Massasoit Community College, and has worked in the A/V business with Audio Video Intelligence for over 20 years. He enjoys spending time with his wife and son, coaching soccer, and riding ATVs.
Tom T. - Sales
Tom originally was born and raised in Massachusetts. He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with degree in Electronic Engineering. Tom has worked for Audio Video Intelligence since the summer of 2017. When he is not designing or meeting clients, Tom enjoys skiing, home renovation, and spending time with his family. He is an A/V industry veteran an aspires to learn something new each day.
Hayley - Sales/Design
Hayley has been a part of the AVI sales and design team for 7 years. Music and light can transform any space, and she enjoys designing custom solutions for her clients from the construction stage and prewire to finishing touches with shades.
Scott - Sales/Design (Lakes Region)
Scott is a 30-year industry veteran having spent time with brands like Sony, Sonos, and B&W. In his spare time, Scott enjoys fishing and hiking in the mountains near his home in New Hampshire's Lakes Region.
Cassidy – Marketing and Business Development Manager
Cassidy began working for Audio Video Intelligence in 2021! When not at work, Cassidy enjoys spending time with her French Bulldogs, Pilates, and going to concerts!
Kara – Office Assistant
Kara has been with AVI since 2018! When not at work, Kara enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. She also a huge Disney and Harry Potter fan, the more they can get to the parks in Florida, the better.
Peggy – Office Assistant
Peggy has been with AVI since 2022! She enjoys spending time with her five-year-old Bichon, her three children, and her granddaughter!
